Overnight Bircher Muesli with Berries

A refreshing, no-cook breakfast packed with fiber and probiotics. Oats are soaked overnight in milk and yogurt with grated apple, then topped with fresh berries for a burst of antioxidants.
Ingredients
- 0.5 cup Rolled Oats
- 0.5 piece Apple
- 2 tablespoons Greek Yogurt
- 0.5 cup Whole Milk
- 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds
- 0.25 cup Mixed Berries
- 0.25 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 pinch Ground Cinnamon
Instructions
- In a medium glass jar or bowl, combine the rolled oats and chia seeds.
- Pour in the milk and fold in the Greek yogurt. Stir until well combined.
- Grate the apple using the fine side of a grater (leave the skin on for extra fiber, or peel if your toddler prefers a smoother texture). Add the grated apple and any juices to the oat mixture.
- Add the vanilla extract and ground cinnamon. Stir thoroughly.
- Cover the bowl or jar and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight. This allows the oats to soften completely.
- In the morning, check the consistency. If it's too thick, stir in an extra splash of milk.
- Safety Step: Wash the berries. If using blueberries or large raspberries, cut them into halves or quarters to prevent choking.
- Top the muesli with the fresh berries and serve chilled.
