Crispy & Quick Pita Pizzas

A lifesaver for busy parents! These mini pizzas use pita bread as a base, making them much faster than traditional pizza. They are easy for little hands to hold and can be customized with any veggies your baby likes.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Pita Bread
  • 0.5 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella
  • 0.5 cup Assorted Toppings
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried Oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) or set your air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Place the pita breads on a baking sheet. Lightly brush the edges with a tiny bit of olive oil if you want them extra golden.
  3. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over each pita, leaving a small border for the 'crust'.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
  5. Add your chosen toppings. For babies, ensure vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms are chopped very small to avoid choking risks.
  6. Bake in the oven for 7-10 minutes, or air fry for 4-5 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are lightly browned.
  7. Let them cool for a few minutes, then slice into thin strips or small triangles that are easy for your child to manage.
