Sweet Potato Crackers

Crunchy, golden crackers made with sweet potato purée and just a handful of pantry staples. A naturally vibrant snack rich in beta-carotene that toddlers love to munch on.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sweet Potato Purée
- 1.5 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 0.5 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Spices
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the sweet potato purée, melted butter, flour, baking powder, and chosen spice until a smooth dough forms. Add a tablespoon more flour if the dough feels too sticky.
- Wrap the dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 175 °C (350 °F). Line two baking trays with baking paper.
- Divide the dough in half. Roll each half out on a floured surface to about 3 mm (1/8 inch) thickness.
- Cut into desired shapes — squares, rectangles, or use small cookie cutters for fun shapes.
- Place on prepared trays with a little space between each cracker.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, flip gently, then bake for another 10–12 minutes until golden and crisp on both sides.
- Cool completely on the trays — they will continue to firm up.
- Safety note: Break into small pieces for younger toddlers. The crackers are crunchy, so supervise closely.
