Avocado & Egg Toast Fingers

Toasted bread fingers topped with creamy mashed avocado and soft scrambled egg. A nutritionally complete BLW meal combining healthy fats, protein, and complex carbohydrates in a format that's easy for babies to grip and explore.

Ingredients

  • 1 slice Bread
  • 0.25 medium Avocado
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.5 teaspoon Unsalted Butter

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread slice lightly — just enough to give it firmness so it doesn't fall apart when baby holds it.
  2. Cut the toast into 2-3 finger-width strips.
  3. In a small bowl, mash the avocado with a fork until smooth.
  4. Spread the mashed avocado generously on each toast strip.
  5. Scramble the egg: melt a tiny amount of butter in a non-stick pan over medium-low heat, add the beaten egg, and cook gently until soft curds form with no raw egg remaining.
  6. Place small spoonfuls of scrambled egg on top of each avocado toast strip.
  7. Let cool to room temperature before serving. Baby grips the toast strip from the bottom and eats from the top down.
