Cod with Cauliflower & Pea Puree

A light and nutrient-dense meal. This puree combines mild white fish with sweet peas and creamy cauliflower, providing essential iodine and lean protein for your baby's growth.
Ingredients
- 50 grams Cod Fillet
- 100 grams Cauliflower
- 50 grams Green Peas
Instructions
- Wash the cauliflower and cut it into small florets.
- Check the cod fillet thoroughly for any tiny bones. Remove the skin if present.
- Place the cauliflower florets in a steamer basket over boiling water and steam for 8 minutes.
- Add the cod fillet and the peas (fresh or frozen) to the steamer basket with the cauliflower.
- Continue steaming for another 6-8 minutes until the fish flakes easily and the vegetables are very tender.
- Transfer the fish and vegetables to a blender. Reserve a small amount of the steaming water.
- Add a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil and blend until completely smooth.
- Pass the puree through a fine-mesh sieve to ensure no pea skins or missed fish fibers remain, achieving a silky texture safe for 6-month-olds.
- Allow to cool and test the temperature before serving.
