Banana & Oat Omega-3 Bites

A soft, naturally sweet, and no-bake snack. These bites are packed with fiber from oats and healthy fats from ground flaxseeds, making them a perfect on-the-go snack for little fingers.
Ingredients
- 1 medium Ripe Banana
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 2 tablespoons Almond Butter
- 1 tablespoon Ground Flaxseeds
- 0.25 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 pinch Ground Cinnamon
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mash the ripe banana with a fork until it becomes a smooth liquid consistency.
- Add the creamy almond butter (or peanut butter) and vanilla extract to the banana. Stir until well combined.
- Fold in the rolled oats, ground flaxseeds, and cinnamon.
- Stir the mixture thoroughly. If it feels too wet to roll, let it sit for 5-10 minutes so the oats can absorb the moisture.
- Take a small amount of the mixture (about 1 teaspoon) and roll it into a small ball, roughly the size of a large cherry.
- Safety Note: Ensure the balls are small enough for your baby to handle but soft enough to be easily squashed with their gums.
- Place the bites on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
- Serve cold or at room temperature.
