A fiber-rich breakfast featuring soaked oats and creamy yogurt. The addition of grated apple or pear provides a safe, textured introduction to raw fruits while keeping the meal easy to swallow.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Rolled Oats
  • 2 tablespoons Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 0.5 piece Apple or Pear

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the rolled oats with 4 tablespoons of water, breast milk, or formula.
  2. Cover and let the oats soak for at least 30 minutes (or overnight in the fridge) until they are completely soft and mushy.
  3. Peel a ripe apple or pear and grate it using the fine side of a grater to create a safe, soft pulp.
  4. Stir the grated fruit and the plain Greek yogurt into the soaked oats.
  5. Optional: Add a tiny pinch of ground cinnamon for extra flavor.
  6. Mix well until the consistency is thick but scoopable.
  7. Serve immediately at room temperature or slightly chilled.
